Human Impact on the Environment

In this unit, students explore how human activities such as pollution and greenhouse gas emissions affect ecosystems and human health. They investigate real-world environmental issues using data, learn to classify types of pollution, and develop an understanding of the greenhouse effect and climate change. Students then apply their knowledge by designing action-oriented responses, including pollution-reduction posters and school sustainability plans, building their capacity to make informed, evidence-based decisions about environmental challenges.
