The STOP the Coward Punch education resources equip secondary-aged young people with knowledge about the harmful effects of cowardly and unnecessary violence and promote positive attitudes and behaviours through engaging, creative strategies and age-appropriate information.

Managing violence starts with education

As an educator, finding the right approach can be challenging. Our STOP the Coward Punch resources will help you teach students about the real-life consequences of violence and build empathy and responsible decision-making.

Young people will build mental toughness and learn protective strategies, critically examine the importance of language, learn about forces and creatively explore violence, masculinity and the coward punch.

Since 2000, more than 172 lives have been lost to deadly blows to the head, with hundreds more injured. Danny Green’s STOP the Coward Punch Campaign was started in 2012 with the aim of raising awareness of the devastating effects of the coward punch on the community, including the physical and mental scars survivors, families and friends are left with for life.
