Lesson summary

Students are given the opportunity to research an island that falls into the same climatic zone they chose for their imaginary island. The task allows flexibility in the manner their research findings are communicated and assessed.

Select, navigate and read texts for a range of purposes, monitoring meaning and evaluating the use of structural features; for example, table of contents, glossary, chapters, headings and subheadings (AC9E6LY04)
